Destinations

While exchanges can occur between any two countries in which there are certified Rotary Districts and clubs, in practice D7040 maintains exchanges with about twenty countries.

These include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Peru, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, and Venezuela.

The student has the opportunity to rank their preference of exchange destination; however, as there are limited places in any one country, a preparedness to accept an exchange in any of the other available countries is necessary.

Please note that the district committee decides the final country of destination.
